Couch and sofa delivery

Couch delivery with BoxHauls costs $32.50 for a 5-mile trip and $63.50 for 15 miles in Fresno. A driver wraps it, straps it into a pickup and delivers it. It’s part of furniture and large-item delivery.

Sizes that fit

A 6.5 ft pickup bed takes a sofa up to about 78 inches lying flat, and longer with the tailgate down. Loveseats fit easily. Sectionals ride in pieces. Book every couch as Large Item Pick-up.

The doorway check

Before you book, measure:

1. The couch’s depth and height (the two smallest dimensions)
2. The narrowest doorway and hallway on the way in
3. Any tight turns at the top or bottom of stairs

If the couch’s depth is less than the doorway width, it can usually go through on its side. Unscrew the legs for extra room.

Stairs

Couches on stairs are always a two-person carry. Request a helper ($17) or have someone ready to lift. There’s no stairs fee.

Wrapping

Drivers wrap couches in moving blankets and strap them down so they don’t shift or scuff.
