Mattress delivery
Part of Furniture delivery
BoxHauls · Reviewed by John Marcus IV
Mattress delivery with BoxHauls costs $32.50 for a 5-mile trip in Fresno, for any size. The box spring and frame ride along on the same trip. It’s part of furniture and large-item delivery.
Bags
An open truck bed is dusty, so mattresses should be bagged before they ride. [TODO: whether drivers bring mattress bags or the customer provides one]
How it rides
| Size | Width × length (in) | In a 6.5 ft bed |
|---|---|---|
| Twin, twin XL | 38 × 75–80 | Flat |
| Full | 54 × 75 | Flat |
| Queen | 60 × 80 | Nearly flat, over the wheel wells |
| King, California king | 72–76 × 80–84 | Angled or on edge |
Book mattresses as Large Item Pick-up. There’s no heavy-item fee for mattresses.
Box spring and frame
The price is per trip, not per piece. Take the frame apart before pickup and bag the bolts.

Is a mattress moved flat or upright?
Twin through queen ride flat or nearly flat in a pickup bed. Kings and California kings ride angled or on edge because they're wider than the space between the bed sides.
Can you take my old mattress away?
Yes, as a separate disposal trip. See mattress disposal for how fees and recycling work.
