Truck sizes: which BoxHauls tier fits your stuff
BoxHauls job types describe the job, not the truck. Book Movin' Boxes for boxes and small moves, Dump Run for junk and Large Item Pick-up for furniture and appliances. Every driver uses their own pickup. A standard 6.5 ft bed takes a full-size couch, a queen mattress flat, or a refrigerator standing up.

Pickup bed sizes
Drivers bring their own trucks, so the bed depends on who accepts the job. [TODO: whether customers can request a long bed] These are the common bed sizes on full-size pickups:

Measurements are typical manufacturer ranges for full-size pickups. Lowering the tailgate adds roughly 18–22 inches of support.
Payload
A half-ton pickup carries roughly 1,500–2,300 lb; a three-quarter-ton carries roughly 2,500–4,000 lb, depending on configuration. BoxHauls caps single items at 1,000 lb and gun safes at 1,200 lb.

Most couches up to about 84 inches long ride flat in a 6.5 ft bed. Longer sofas ride with the tailgate down or angled. Book it as Large Item Pick-up.
